Excavations:
Thorikos: The famous settlement, silver mines, it's theatre, Mycenaean tholos tombs in the Lavrion area, Attica is under continued investigation by a team of the Université de Liège, under direction of Professor Robert Laffineur and another team of the Universiteit Gent, under direction of Professor Roald Docter.
Sissi: A 5 year project in the community of Vrachasi, Crete, started in July 2007, by a team of the specialists from universities UcL and KUL, under direction of Professor Jan Driessen (UcL) and Professor Ilse Schoep (KULeuven).
Itanos: A new 5 year project in the dhimos Agiou Nikolaou, Nomos Lasithiou, Crete, by a team of the specialists from the ULB university, under direction of Professor Didier Viviers and Professor Athina Tsingarida.

Permission procedure:
The school is the legal and financial responsible for all projects that are submitted to the Greek ministry of culture or any other Greek authority by the school. The school will not be held responsible for projects or project requests that were submitted by individual scholars.
Applications for excavations, survey or other prospective fieldwork should arrive at the school before 1st of November of each year.
The School then verifies all practical and legal requirements of the permission request and if needed, can help with translating the document. Applications for library visits, museum studies, or other activities that fall in the range of activities of the school that are not fieldwork can be made throughout the year, except August, when the school is closed.
